I would first like to start off by saying, if you've been to Dallas before and you felt like you only had to visit once, then chances are you really didn't go to Dallas. With many different areas growing, changing, and adjusting it brings new innovation, new ideas, and a plethora of cool and neat things to explore. Each time you visit, its a different Dallas, so you can never just visit once! Many of the places that I mention in this article are jut a few out of a million different places in Dallas to explore!

Dallas Farmers Market
Dallas is known for its agriculture and flourishing community. The Dallas Farmers Market is located near Downtown Dallas. There are two sections, The Shed and the actual Market itself. When you first walk into the Shed area of the Market, its a beautiful area of everyone from different walks of life, bringing together food and culture and creating something amazing. Many farmers, inventors, and artists make up this space. There had to be more then twenty different booths available. I did have a picture of the actual Shed area but for some reason, my phone never saved it!

We tried many different foods and drinks. But being that it was almost 98 degrees outside that day, we ended up going into the air conditioned Market square.

The Market was an indoor shopping and food center. It was really nice, it had about ten different stores, with a very hipster feel. It definitely gave a nice cool spacious feeling as you soon went in, you were hit with AC. DEFINITELY appreciated after being outside in weather that was made to fry eggs on a sidewalk.
SWEET DAZE DESERT BAR
After hitting the market, we channeled our inner mermaid and went to Sweet Daze Desert Bar. From the outside, it looks like a small cute donut shop, but don't be fooled this hip and eclectic place brings your mermaid dreams to life! The place is mostly white, aired with a few chairs and tables, and a cute selfie ring light that takes your pictures!

I ended up getting the cute galaxy donut with a mermaid twist. They had the option of having the donut warmed, and who doesn't love a fresh hot donut? When doing my research of this place, from the pictures at first, I thought that the mermaid tail was candy! It's actually handmade and molded into a tail using fondant.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate my nails? I also got those done in Dallas. I never believed it til I actually experienced it. My roommate from college was always proud of her Dallas/Rowlett roots! Her nails would always look fire when she would come back from breaks. Mine would look good, but I never had color changing nails or the cute shapes they had to offer. She told me of her nail spot in Rowlett and everything changed. Its true, different regions and parts of the United States; each have ways of doing nails and leaving their mark. I got my nails done at a local nail shop by my friends house in Rowlett,TX! The nail technique is definitely different from what is done here in Houston.

She used this powder on the acrylics that she just placed on the tip of my nail. The powder already had the color that I wanted and used that to shape my nails. Usually when I get my nails done, acrylic is placed on the whole nail, shaved down and then shaped with a clear acrylic powder THEN the powder is shaped on top of that to create the look. DALLAS NAILS ARE LIGHTER ON YOUR HANDS LADIES! A MUST TRY!!

DEEP ELLUM
Deep Ellum in downtown Dallas, is filled with many different restaurants and stores. After the morning, more people filled the roads and after circling hours around trying to find a spot to park, we decided to pay $20 and pay in a near by parking lot.

We mostly walked around and did a lot of window shopping. There were a plethora of really nice stores in the area. Some may have seen on my Snapchat (Which by the way add me! Vintage_Affair). It seemed like everything was a photograph opportunity when walking through Ellum. I even took pictures of these pink benches that were right by this vintage Cadillac. It just SCREAMED aesthetics! I had to post the original and the edit.

I save many pictures but after going through my camera roll, I couldn't find the picture of the gorgeous store we had stopped by. After talking to locals, we asked about local places to go to for food. One place that we learned about was a hip and modern sushi hangout that a lot of people frequented. The Sushi Bowl was very... interesting...

It was a very pricey lounge, but after walking for so long, it was what was there at the moment. It was very average for sushi and the egg rolls weren't that great. But food is food when you're starving. I would've loved to have stopped by The Noodle King! It was originally on my list! But from where we were, we settled for The Sushi Bowl. We later on while exploring, passed The Noodle King, and just from the smell I realized that we had made a mistake. But no worries! It's on the list for next time!

The beautiful lights turned on once the sun went down created a beautiful ambiance.
Overall, it was a fun experience! I would definitely go again and explore more of what Dallas/Forth Worth area has to offer!*
